UC Students Present Research to Campus Community
More Than 50 to Present at Annual Research Day

Utica, NY (04/29/2015) - The analysis of morphine analogs, the effect of Iroquois trade on the Mohawk Valley and the future uses of drones may not seem like topics that go together. But, these topics and more will make up a diverse set of presentations at Utica College’s annual student research day on Wednesday, April 29 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.Opening remarks will be given by Dr. Judith Kirkpatrick, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at 2:30 p.m. in the Carbone Family Auditorium, Economic Crime, Justice Studies, and Cybersecurity building. Dr. Steven Specht, professor of psychology, will give the keynote presentation, "The Rats and the Arts: Common Strategies and Transdisciplinary Inquiries."
Dr. Alyssa Thomas, assistant professor of chemistry; Dr. Joseph Ribaudo, assistant professor of physics; Dr. Luke Perry, associate professor of government and politics, and Aaron Mallace, assistant professor of health studies, served on the Student Research committee.
The presentations will be split into four concurrent sessions in the Gordon Science Center; a room schedule will be available at the event.
