Q: What is Utica's cost of attendance?

Q: Do you offer scholarships?

A: We offer merit scholarships in the range of $2,000 to $6,000 for freshman (undergraduate) students and $1,000 to $3,000 for transfer students. You will be automatically considered for a scholarship when we review your completed general application for admission. You do not have to apply separately for a scholarship.

Q: Can I work on campus?

A: There are some work opportunities available for international students.

Q: Do you have an ESL program?

A: Yes, Utica College offers an intensive English language (ESL) program. For details, visit the IELP program page.

Q: What do students do for fun at Utica College?

A: Utica College is a very lively campus with more than 100 student clubs and organizations. Many of our students also play varsity, intramural, and club sports. Find out more about student organizations on our activities portal, PioneerPlace, and discover Pioneer athletics at ucpioneers.com.

Q: Do you require SAT/ACT scores?

A: SAT (I or II) or ACT scores are not required for undergraduate applicants except for the following majors: Nursing, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy.

Q: Can I be exempted from TOEFL or IELTS?

A: There are a few cases for exemption. Please refer to our How To Apply page or contact us for more information

Q: Can I play sports at Utica College?

A: There are many opportunities for international students to participate in athletic competition at Utica College.  We offer 25 intercollegiate varsity sports, 15 intramural sports, and a number of club sports. Visit www.ucpioneers.com for more information.

Q: Does Utica College offer on-campus housing?

A: International students have access to on-campus housing for all four years of their undergraduate experience at Utica.

Q: Can I live off campus?

A: International students who enter UC as freshmen can live off-campus in their third and fourth years. International transfer students have the option to live off-campus.

Q: Please name some of the places where Utica College students have found employment after graduation. 

A: Utica College graduates start careers in a variety of fields and professions.  Our alumni have joined world-renowned companies including Hewlett Packard, Earnst & Young, Citibank, PWC, IMB, Google, Sanofi-Avantis, General Motors, and SUNY Upstate Medical Center, to name a few. Q: When should I apply?

A: Utica College is on a rolling admissions system, meaning that we do not have an application deadline.  However, we encourage all students to apply as early as possible, as space is limited.
