Living on campus can be one of the best experiences of a college student's life. The focus of our student living program is to complement one's formal classroom education by offering students the "total university experience" for personal growth and development.

All incoming first-year students are required to live in University residence halls for their first two years, unless residing at home with their legal parent or guardian who live within a 30 mile radius. All transfer students are required to have lived on a campus for 4 semesters. This means incoming second year transfers are required to reside on campus unless residing at home with their legal parent or guardian.

Welcome to Utica University!  You are now about to become a member of our residential community.  It is our hope that your experience within the residence halls is more than just a place to lay your head after classes.  We hope that you will involve yourself as an active member of this community in order to help us maintain a positive, safe, and worthwhile residential experience.

Housing Selection Process for Fall 2022:

Beginning March 1, 2022, all steps in the housing selection process must be completed by June 1, 2022. If you have not already done so, please complete the following steps:

  • Step 1: Fill out the Housing Agreement
  • Step 2: Fill out your Housing Preference Form
  • Step 3:  Create a MooseMatch Profile to browse for other students who are looking for a roommate and/or to submit a roommate request(s).
    • This is the only way for you to request a roommate. If you want to live with someone you already know, you must create an account and mutually request each other on this platform.
  • Step 4 (if necessary): Any student requesting a medical accommodation should contact the Office of Learning Services prior to June 1, 2022.

Students will be able to view their room assignment beginning on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.
