UC to Host Tribute Concert to Honor Veterans
Concert Band, Choir, Community Chorus to Perform

Utica, NY (10/31/2013) - Utica College will honor veterans with a tribute concert on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 4 p.m. in UC’s Clark Athletic Center.The concert will include performances by the Utica College Concert Band, Utica College Choir and the Utica Community Chorus. Special guests will include all area Veterans, the UC Reserve Officer’s Training Corps (ROTC) program, Syracuse Air Force ROTC program and NJROTC from Notre Dame and Proctor High Schools.
The Utica College Concert Band, directed by Michael DiMeo, will play selections ranging from “Hands Across the Sea” to “Salute to America’s Finest.” The Utica College Concert Choir, directed by David Kolb, will perform pieces from “The Sound of Music,” “River of Dreams,” “Hallelujah” and more.
The concert is free and open to the public, but donations of non-perishable food items will be collected and donated to the Feed Our Vets program. Monetary donations will benefit the Fischer House program.
