Biography
Mary Christopher is adviser to Utica College’s newspaper,
The Tangerine, and an adjunct professor of journalism. Christopher has been a journalist for 18 years. She's covered a variety of beats as a reporter for the
Utica Observer-Dispatch and her freelance work has been published in several newspapers and websites, including Foxnews.com. Christopher has received awards from the New York State Associated Press Association, New York Newspaper Publishers Association and Gannett Company. Christopher is a Utica College graduate and received her Master of Science in Information Design and Technology from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Her academic interests focus on the evolution of journalism through digital and social media.
