Upstate Sports Medicine Facility

Problem Statement

The Upstate Sports Medicine faculty required a project management strategy to incorporate faculty/student/subject requirements into the faculty operations processes.

Action

A Leadership team of students and two faculty members, partnered with the faculty members partnered with the facilities’ coordinator, to develop a project management approach to meeting the “human” requirements.

Outcomes
  • Building open as scheduled, within budget
  • Customers satisfied
  • Agreed actions met to specifications
  • Design review
  • Internal customer forums, facilitated
  • Operational plans established
  • PM projects outlined
