Baldrige Best Practices - Crouse Hospital
Crouse Hospital sought an educational strategy to enhance the awareness of performance improvement strategies of 2,700 employees. The Leadership Institute was selected as a knowledgeable Malcolm Baldrige Award educator.
Through educating Board and Senior leaders, a STB team of 25 members with the Institute led a two year process of discovery, inquiry, and education, a significant milestone was the submittal of the Baldrige Application to NIST in Washington D.C.
Initial Baldrige self assessment completed year one Educational forums conducted monthly. STB leadership trained steering and seven STB task formed writing team created.
