What is parent orientation?

Parent orientation is a chance for parents and families to learn more about Utica College, our faculty, staff, and resources. It's also a chance to ask questions and meet other parents. At orientation you will:

  • Learn about services available to students and families
  • Gain a unique perspective on what it means to be a parent to a college-aged student.
What's the schedule?

You can arrive for check-in anytime between 8:30 and 10:30 am. The Words of Welcome will begin at 10:30. The parent schedule ends around 5 pm, and the Parent Dinner at Hotel Utica begins at 6 pm.
Day 2 begins at 9:00 am and will end after the students advising and Student Financial Services appointment. (Please note this could be anytime from 12:30 to 4:00 pm)
