Parents Guide to Orientation
Utica College provides an orientation program for parents and families. We understand that parents and families also experience a transition when a student goes to college, and we're here to help. Below are some frequently asked questions. If you have other questions, please feel free to contact us at: orientation@utica.edu
What is parent orientation?
Parent orientation is a chance for parents and families to learn more about Utica College, our faculty, staff, and resources. It's also a chance to ask questions and meet other parents. At orientation you will:
- meet with representatives from your student's academic program
- Learn about services available to students and families
- Gain a unique perspective on what it means to be a parent to a college-aged student.
Parent & Family Orientation is Friday, August 26, 2016. You will join your student in attending the Resource Fair, Convocation, and academic program meetings. The final session for parents and families will be an off campus reception. We will be sending out information shortly regarding the reception.
