CALL FOR PAPERS
The words extremism and terrorism have never had a higher profile in the discourse of public life than they do today, often with a ‘spin’ that is divisive and unhelpful. How should the world of education react? What should schools and universities teach about it?
Proposals for papers, symposia and workshops are invited from lecturers, teachers, researchers and policy-makers in education, citizenship and human rights for this major event which addresses one of the most pressing issues of our time. Proposals welcome from any academic perspective, but particularly philosophy, sociology, law, policy studies, history, peace studies, curriculum studies, pedagogy and professional studies.
Organising Committee:
Professor Ron Best, Dr. Dianne Gereluk, Dr. Richard Race
