Welcome to Utica University's Office of Human Resources
Serving the Utica University Community
The Office of Human Resources serves as strategic partners, change agents, employee advocates, and administrative experts to enhance and encourage professional growth and life long learning while pursuing the Mission and Values of Utica University.
Beginning on January 1, 2023, Utica University is embarking on a one-year trial of an exciting new alternative work schedule program for staff called “FlexWork”. For information about FlexWork, please review the following slide deck: FlexWork Information and FAQ. Human Resources has also prepared a FlexWork policy that will serve as an addendum to the Employee Handbook throughout the trial period: FlexWork Policy.
For more information and tips on how to best operationalize the FlexWork program, please see How To Make The Most Out Of FlexWork. This is geared toward supervisors responsible for staff scheduling.
In addition, you can review tips on how to make the most out of meetings now that work schedules are changing. Please see Making Meetings Work for more information.
The Office of Human Resources has also compiled a list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) to assist employees with basic HR needs at any time, regardless of work schedule.
