The Office of Student Involvement & Leadership empowers students to connect, lead, and grow by providing opportunities for engagement, leadership development, and meaningful campus involvement.

Get Involved
Get the most out of your time at Utica with a little help from the Student Involvement and Leadership. College is about discovering who you are and what your place in the world will be. It's important to make connections and learn new things in order to realize your purpose. We can get you connected with other like-minded students, show you new ways to contribute to your community, and help you create a legacy for other students to learn from in the future.
We advise the Student Government Association (SGA), InterGreek Council (IGC), Utica University Programming Board (UPB), Residence Hall Association (RHA), and the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) as well as provide advice and support for all student organizations.
Develop Your Leadership Skills
We offer a number of ways to learn about leadership, whether you're just hearing the word for the first time, or you've had loads of experience. We have many leadership organizations, we offer training for positional leaders, and we have workshops and step-by-step programs for any student to develop their skills and discover what leadership means for them.
Office Operations
We have balloons, laminates, raffle tickets, copies, envelopes, faxes, color paper, and other supplies available for Utica students, organizations, offices and committees.
For advertising campus events, make sure your event is registered on PioHub. Then, send a copy of your flier to arhodkin@utica.edu.
To advertise non-university affiliated events, please bring two copies of your flier to 205/206 Strebel Student Center, we can hang them on the designated bulletin boards in Strebel and Hubbard Hall.
STUDENT INVOLVEMENT AND LEADERSHIP CALENDAR
We are so excited to bring you our brand new engagement center - PioHub! This will be your one stop shop for all things campus engagement. Watch this space as we continue to build and develop the platform.
The Morning Mention is a daily email sent to the Utica Community which includes information about the day's activities, information for upcoming events, services, and general campus information including news and announcements.
The Morning Mention is sent out electronically through the college e-mail every weekday morning throughout the academic year. Utica University faculty, staff, and students are automatically subscribed to receive the Morning Mention.
To submit an upcoming event to the Morning Mention, please follow our Submission Guidelines.
Members of the Utica University community can login using their Utica Banner credentials. General members must create a username and profile. All sales on Utica Tickets are credit card only. To purchase a ticket using cash, please visit the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership during normal business hours.

Each day a newsletter is blasted to all of Utica's community. Promote your upcoming event by submitted a Morning Mention.

Contact the Office of Student Involvement and Ladership at trax@utica.edu to have your event listed on the main Utica website events calendar.

For our full posting policy, please click here. For approval of your signage, please come to the Student Involvement and Leadership Office. All flyers must:
- Have university stamp
- Be no larger than 11" x 17"
- Include organization or e-board member contact information
- Not include racist, sexist, or bias related words or images
