Calling All Pioneers!

Help us launch a new initiative to engage Utica alumni

Utica University is excited to announce a new initiative to provide opportunities for alumni to expand their professional network and enhance their alumni experience while staying involved with Utica through the four channels of engagement: giving, volunteering, attending, and connecting.

We are looking for volunteers to serve on Regional Alumni Committees to help develop and plan more social, cultural, and educational programs in your area.

Some ideas include:

  • Host and/or help plan events, such as happy hours, receptions, small dinners, behind-the-scenes tours, educational panels, etc.
  • Maintain a Facebook group and other social media pages
  • Encourage diverse alumni attendance at Utica events
  • Encourage alumni to support Utica University philanthropically
  • Attend a college fair or admissions event and speak to prospective students
  • Coordinate community service projects
  • Help plan an upcoming class or affinity reunion
  • Share your industry insight with students and recent graduates
  • Develop new ways to enhance the value of the Utica University alumni network
