Utica University students and community members make up the Utica University String Ensemble which includes violins, violas, cellos, and double basses.
No audition is required. Rehearsals are Thursdays 4-6 PM in the Library Concourse.
Utica University Students may join the string ensemble for credit (MUS 260) or for fun!
"I chose Utica University because of their support for the arts. Because of this, I am able to pursue an Animal Behavior degree all while being a part of the amazing string ensemble. It is a gratifying feeling knowing that I can continue two of my passions at the same time. Not only this, but I also feel an undeniable sense of familiarity and comfort as I step foot on campus."
- Nayeli Delgado, Animal Behavior major
