Dr. Emmons has been a faculty member at Utica College since the 2003-2004 academic year. He earned his PhD in mathematics from Indiana University in 2003 with his thesis titled, "Products of Hecke Eigenforms" under the advising of Michael Larsen. His research interests are in modular forms and number theory. While in graduate school he earned his first Dan blackbelt in Taekwondo. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, traveling, brewing beer, and watching hockey. (Go Red Wings!)
