As part of our founding commitment to making a quality, career-focused private education affordable for the families we serve, Utica University is introducing the new Frontier Award, which offers $2,000 or more to non-New York state residents, up to a total of $8,000 over four years, as part of your complete financial aid package.

Frontier Award Features:

Available to out-of-state first-year or transfer students
Awards of at least $2,000 annually - $8,000 maximum over four years
No additional application necessary - all out-of-state applicants are eligible
Award is offered in addition to your financial aid package, including more than 300 university scholarships, which typically reduce tuition cost by 50% or more

State Grant Match

If you are a resident of Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Ohio, or Pennsylvania and you are eligible for a state grant of more than $2,000, Utica University will adjust your Frontier Award to match your state grant. Just provide us with documentation of your award, and we will match the amount.
