Martin Luther King, Jr., inspired painting event

"I have a dream..."
Martin Luther King, Jr., gave his famous "I Have a Dream" speech from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., during the March on Washington on August 28, 1963. In it, he called for civil and economic rights, and an end to systemic racism in the United States -- of freedom and equality.
Inspired by his words, we're calling on our students to share their own dreams for the future.
Come to the Wilcox Center to paint your dreams on canvases on January 19. The images will come together to be displayed in the micro-art gallery in the Ralph F. Strebel Student Center for the month of February.
Refreshments and mocktails will be provided.
