Top 10 Online Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity Programs; Also Ranked #6 Most Affordable Master’s

Utica University has recently been ranked at number 7 in Online Schools Guide’s 10 Top Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity Programs. This list identifies universities with online cybersecurity programs and ranks them based on cost and reputation. Utica was also named to Fortune’s Most Affordable Online Master’s in Cybersecurity list, coming in at number 6. These accolades come on the heels of Forbes magazine placing Utica University on its list of best online masters’ degrees.

Utica’s online bachelor’s in cybersecurity program is a 120-credit, fully online experience, that can be completed in two to four years. Students can choose from three specializations including Cyber Operations, Cybercrime and Fraud Investigation, or Digital Forensics and Incident Response, to ensure they have an educational experience tailored to their interests.

Utica’s online master’s in cybersecurity program is a 30-credit, fully online program that can be completed in two years. There are three specializations available including Digital Forensics, Cybersecurity Operations, and Cybercrime and Fraud.

Utica’s cybersecurity program is on the cutting edge of cybersecurity programs across the nation. It has been designated a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education by the National Security Agency and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. It is also identified as a National Center for Digital Forensics Academic Excellence by the Defense Cyber Crime Center, and is recognized as an Academic Center for Excellence by the International Council of Electronic Commerce Consultants, the world’s largest cybersecurity technical certification body.

Demand for cybersecurity degrees is continuing to rise with the uptick of cybercrimes and identity theft. There is expected to be a 33% increase in job growth within the cybersecurity sector through 2023, and 89% of those openings require a bachelor’s degree or higher.
