Utica College Master of Nursing Programs Earn Accreditation
“These accreditations validate the college’s commitment to excellence in nursing education, and showcase the quality of our graduate nursing curricula.”
The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) Board of Commissioners has granted initial accreditation to the master’s degree program in Nursing and to the post-graduate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certificate program at Utica College for five years.
The Utica College programs were reviewed under the rigorous CCNE Standards for Accreditation of Baccalaureate and Graduate Nursing Programs, and the board determined that there were no compliance concerns with respect to the key elements.
“This is a tremendous accomplishment,” said Rona Levin, professor and chair of nursing at Utica College. “These accreditations validate the college’s commitment to excellence in nursing education, and showcase the quality of our graduate nursing curricula.”
