As an executive producer for NBC’s popular “Stay Tuned” Snapchat news program, journalism alumna Angela Grande ’05 is uniquely qualified to weigh in on the state of journalism today—and the unlikely media outlets changing the way we consume information.

Grande, a 15-year veteran of the news industry and Emmy winner, is the 2020 recipient of the Raymond Simon Institute’s Outstanding Alumna Award.

She joined veteran journalist and Utica College professor David Chanatry to discuss the the future of journalism, “fake news,” and the power of social media.
