Why Utica College
Utica College's major in nursing offers a very rigorous program of foundational study, practical training, and clinical experience in the discipline, complemented by comprehensive learning in the liberal arts. Nursing students have access to UC's state-of-the-art Albert and Gloria Shaheen Nursing Laboratory, which features a fully equipped hospital ward and advanced learning technologies. Students work closely with exceptionally accomplished faculty.

What You'll Learn
The nursing program features three study options:
- Traditional Campus-Based Program
This option is a traditional four-year undergraduate program.
- RN to BSN
UC also offers an online RN to BSN program for licensed nurses who have completed an associates degree program and are seeking a higher credential.
- Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN)
Utica College offers an accelerated (16 month) bachelor of science in nursing program for people who have prior non-nursing education.The program blends online courses with hands-on lab simulations and clinical rotations, and is offered through our learning sites in Syracuse, NY, St. Petersburg, Florida, and Miramar, Florida.
