Major Discovery Days - Business Programs, Criminal Justice, and Cybersecurity

Join us for Major Discovery Days, an in depth exploration of some of Utica College's innovative and career focused majors. The programs that will be covered in this session include: Accounting, Business Economics & Finance, Business Management, Communication & Media, Criminal Intelligence Analysis, Criminal Justice, Cybersecurity, Economics, Fraud & Financial Crime Investigation, Health Care Management, Public Relations & Marketing, and Sports Management. The day will feature faculty presentations, demonstrations and more. Talk with current students and hear from recent graduates about the student experience and career opportunities and pathways.

Film: Budapest Noir

[2018, Hungary, dir. Éva Gárdos, 95 mins.] A beautiful Jewish girl is found dead, thrusting an investigative reporter into a seedy underworld of brothels, boxing rings, gangsters and politicians in this film noir thriller set in the slums of the Hungarian capital during the rise of Hitler and the Nazis in 1936. FILM@UC All films take place at 7:00 p.m. in Macfarlane Auditorium and are free of charge. Students, faculty, staff, and the public are welcome to attend. Schedule subject to change. On Stage: Arcadia

Arcadia by Tom Stoppard Directed by Rachel M. E. Wolfe February 21, 22, and 23 at 7:30 p.m., February 24 at 2:00 p.m. in the Strebel Student Center Auditorium. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $5 for students, and are available at the door Set in one house but two time periods, Tom Stoppard's Arcadia follows the life of a female genius of the nineteenth century who has been erased from history and the present-day scholars who work together to uncover her legacy. Filled with witty banter, math, chemistry, physics, poetry, historiography, Romanticism, landscape design, love, dueling, biology, computer programming, and humor, there is something in Arcadia to interest every audience.
