DEI Book Club Meeting
A space for avid readers and occasional book browsers alike.
Join the DEI Book Club for the Spring 2023 semester! This book club is open to Utica University students and members of the greater Utica community. It allows participants to explore new identities, perspectives, and life experiences in a relaxed and fun way.
The group is currently reading Another Appalachia: Coming Up Queer and Indian in a Mountain Place by Naama Avashia.
You can read along with the group or read at your own pace. At the meeting, club coordinators will pull out various quotes and themes to reflect on, so it's a welcome environment no matter where you are in the book!
Participants can join in person or online.
