The primary mission of the Utica College Health Center is to optimize a student’s educational experience through the promotion and pursuit of personal health and wellness of the mind, body, and spirit, empowering them to maintain a healthy lifestyle that supports academic and personal success.
Located on the second floor of Strevel Student Center, the UC Health Center offers free (unless otherwise noted) medical and counseling services on site. All contact with the Student Health Center remains strictly confidential and medical information is only released with a students’ written permission.

When life is overwhelming, we understand. And we want to help you regain control over things. With a staff of professionally-trained clinicians, we can assist our students with a wide variety of concerns help students gain the maximum benefit from their whole experience at UC.

Emergency Medical Services
Utica College has its own EMS team to help you when you need it. UCEMS is a NYS Basic Life Support Response agency governed by the NYS Department of Health. This volunteer emergency medical agency is staffed by students and staff members. Since its inception in 2015, it has responded to more than 200 emergencies on campus as well as providing medical standbys at various large-scale events on campus and within the community.
