UC Exhibits Work of Local Artists
Barrett Gallery Presents "Art in Between"

Utica, NY (06/02/2014) - The Edith Langley Barrett Fine Art Gallery at Utica College will début its summer exhibit today, “Art in Between.”Now through July 25, the exhibit will showcase the works and creations of several local artists as well as pieces from the college’s own art collection. The Art in Between collection, which gets its name from the time between primary academic semesters at the college, will feature various artistic mediums including painting, print, sculpture, photography, collage, puppetry and more.
Local artists whose works will be showcased include L.P. Pacilio, J.D. King, Kyle Riecker, Mary P. Murphy, Steven Specht, Nancy Hardy, Amy Tarasek and Carolynne Whitefeather.
The Barrett Art Gallery, located on the lower level of Frank E. Gannett Memorial Library, will be open Monday through Thursday from 12 noon to 4 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
