UC to Host Volunteer Fair Wednesday


More than 20 Organizations to be Represented

Public, students, alums invited to learn about local organizations

Utica, NY (02/03/2014) - Utica College’s office of career services will host a Spring Volunteer Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 5 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in the Library Concourse.

Representatives from more than 20 local organizations will be on campus to coordinate fieldwork and volunteer opportunities for students interested in human and health services, education, public relations and more.

Organizations attending this year include the Boys and Girls Club of the Mohawk Valley, Utica Safe Schools Healthy Students, the League of Women Voters, Oneida County BOCES, Upstate Cerebral Palsy, Habitat for Humanity, and many others.

The Volunteer Fair allows students and the community opportunities to gain experience, build resumes and connect with new people.

This event is free and open to the public.
