UC Student Group to Host Sheriff Rob Maciol

Sheriff to Give State of Oneida County Law Enforcement Address

Utica, NY (04/24/2014) - Utica College will host the State of Oneida County Law Enforcement Address on Monday, April 28 at 7:30 a.m.

Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol will give the address explaining what is new in law enforcement in the county. Continental breakfast will be served.

The address will take place in the Carbone Family Auditorium located in Utica College’s Economic Crime, Justice Studies and Cybersecurity Building. It is free and open to the public.

The address is sponsored by the Organization of Justice Studies (OJS) of Utica College. OJS is a student organization that bridges classroom learning with the world of criminal justice. It strives to expand students’ opportunities within the field of criminal justice, cybersecurity, information assurance and economic crime investigation, but is open to students of all majors.

Utica College’s School of Business and Justice Studies houses a suite of undergraduate programs in business and economics, construction management, economic crime, justice studies and cybersecurity, public relations and journalism. It also offers graduate programs for master’s of science in cybersecurity intelligence, cyber operations and forensics, master’s of science in economic crime management, master’s of business administration in economic crime and fraud management and master’s of business administration in professional accountancy.
