UC Grad Programs Gearing Up for Fall

Utica, NY (08/03/2012) - Utica College is accepting applications for all graduate- level education and liberal studies programs for the fall semester.

The college offers nine master’s programs in education including educational leadership and administration, childhood education, adolescence education, special education and more.

“Utica College’s graduate programs in education provide comprehensive preparation for a broad range of career-track opportunities,” said Patrice Hallock, interim chair of education and associate professor of education.

Along with education, UC is accepting applications for its liberal studies graduate program as well.

The master of science degree in liberal studies provides an opportunity for intellectual growth and career enhancement through innovative, student-centered interdisciplinary study. It is a flexible alternative to a disciplinary degree that provides students opportunities to design curricula that will be of direct benefit to them in their chosen career.

To apply, students can visit www.utica.edu/gradapp. The application fee of $50 can be waived by completing a short survey at the beginning of the online application. The deadline to submit an application is Wednesday, Aug. 22. Classes begin Tuesday, Aug. 28.
