"Nora's Will" to be Screened at UC

Woman plans her own demise with surprises for family

Utica, NY (09/20/2010) - Film@UC twists things up a bit with the screening of “Nora’s Will.”An elderly woman makes a last-ditch effort to unify her family and provoke her ex-husband by committing suicide. Nora carefully plans her death and leaves a will forcing former husband Jose to follow her Jewish customs, which he abhors. However, plans and perspectives change with the discovery of a mysterious photo.
The 2010 Mexican film directed by Mariana Chenillo is filled with mystery, romance and surprise.
“Nora’s Will” will be shown Thursday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. in Macfarlane Auditorium, DePerno Hall, Utica College. The screening is free and open to the public.
