Utica, NY (12/14/2007) - Utica College's December Recognition Ceremony, scheduled for this Sunday at 1 p.m., has been cancelled for safety reasons. The National Weather Service has indicated that the Mohawk Valley should expect a significant storm from Saturday night to Monday morning.

Currently, the college's schedule for final examinations remains in effect; members of the college community are reminded to use caution when walking and driving. Should it become necessary to postpone exams, faculty, staff, and students will be notified via the college's e2Campus alert system (text and e-mail messages). Weather-related closings are also posted on the college's website at www.utica.edu.

Students, faculty and staff are also reminded to sign up for the college’s emergency alert system, e2Campus. A link to sign up can be found on the college home page at www.utica.edu
