UC Honors Graduating Senior
Christopher Giruzzi Receives Outstanding Senior Award

Utica, NY (06/01/2006) - A public relations and journalism graduate from Utica College has been given the Outstanding Senior Award.Christopher Giruzzi of Barneveld received the award. Giruzzi graduated last month with many academic achievements, including the John Behrens Phoenix Award given to a student who has overcome difficult circumstances to achieve success.
An active member of the UC Disability Committee, Giruzzi has worked with faculty and staff members to recognize and correct barriers for students with physical disabilities, making Utica College accessible to everyone.
An avid golfer, Giruzzi hopes to one day write for a golf magazine or work in a position related to the sport.
