General Information About the Division
The single most important ingredient responsible for a student’s success in college is the level to which they become engaged with their experience. These activities include but are not limited to:
- Class attendance
- Participation in academic clubs and social activities
- Development of new friends
- Choosing an academic major
- Initiating conversations with advisors and faculty
- Early success academically, socially, or in a sport
- An expressed sense of well being with others and family
Whether you are having difficulty choosing a major or need assistance with a personal concern, the staff of the Division of Student Success are here to provide you with direct counseling services or with referrals to off-campus agencies.
