Academics at Utica College

Core Goal 10: Diversity

Students will develop an awareness of and an appreciation for the importance of interacting effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.

Utica College has a Diversity Committee that is committed to fostering diversity in perspective, background, and experience.  The committee is engaged in ongoing work that increases the awareness and appreciation of diversity on campus and society at large.

In 2005 and 2012 the committee completed a climate survey of the campus.  The results, found below, have been shared with various campus constituents and are currently being used in focus group discussions that began in spring 2013.
