STEP ONE
ACTIVATE YOUR UTICA COLLEGE ACCOUNT. THIS ACCOUNT WILL BE USED TO ACCESS BANNERWEB, UC EMAIL, YOUR LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (ANGEL), AND OTHER UC WEB APPLICATIONS.
Go to this website to retrieve your username and create your password: password.utica.edu
STEP THREE
CHECK YOUR UC EMAIL ACCOUNT
- Your UC email address is: Your BannerWeb user ID@utica.edu
- Your eMail password is: The one you just created
- Log-In Here
Your password will expire automatically every 120 days. Beginning 31 days before expiration you will receive daily reminders that you need to reset your password. If you do not reset your password, your account will lock and you will have to contact the Help Desk to have it unlocked. You will have until midnight of that day to reset the password, or the account will re-lock. Please keep in mind that UC email and ANGEL email (the email within your academic course) are two separate accounts. UC email can be forwarded to your preferred email account (home, work, etc) if you prefer. Please contact the Help Desk for assistance: 1-866-264-1537

PAY FOR COURSES
If you are not using financial aid to pay for your education, Utica College offers an easy, secure, and convenient way to pay for your tuition and fees online. You will need to log into Banner Web in order to access the payment portal. Please read this step-by-step instructional guide on where to find the payment portal on Banner Web.
If you are using financial aid, please contact your Student Financial Services counselor to make sure your aid is in-place and ready to go!

Need help paying for your books? If you have financial aid, you can use a book voucher for the Fall and Spring semesters (Summer does not apply). Simply fill out this form . Remember, you will need to fill out this form each Fall and Spring in order to receive the voucher.

PREPARE FOR RESIDENCY OR ORIENTATION

Once in your ANGEL account you will see your courses as well as the “Student Resource Center” which includes helpful information about navigating through ANGEL. You also have access to a Student Quick Start guide, which is located in “Public Information”.
You will not be able to access your course until 1 business day prior to your start date.
If you believe that you will be requesting accommodations due to a disability, please be advised that the supports and services you may have received previously do not automatically carryover to this new college environment. You must provide us with current records to document your disability so that we can make a determination of your eligibility for accommodations, and the type of accommodations that would be appropriate at Utica College.
