Kracke
Kayla Kracke ’11 received an Undergraduate Research Fellowship from the American Society for Microbiology for her project, “Construction of a Transposon-Mediated Knock-out Library in Pseudomonas species UC 17F4 and UC179D3”. The fellowship provides a Summer stipend and travel funds so that Kayla can present her findings at the 111th General Meeting of the American Society for Microbiology in New Orleans, LA in May 2011.
"Without any doubt in my mind, one of the only reasons that I was able to complete my education and successfully enter my current position as a Ph.D. candidate in genetics was due to the constant support and guidance that I received at UC."
