Health Insurance
Utica College offers Student Accident & Sickness insurance coverage and this covers the student 365 days a year both on and off campus. Any matriculated student carrying six or more credits is eligible to apply for this insurance.
All full time students are charged for the insurance, the deadline to waive is January 30, 2012. There will be no extensions to waive after this date.

For 2011-2012 the insurance will be provided by The Maksin Group. This plan is a "primary benefit" plan that will pay a student's medical expenses first, even if the student has other medical coverage through a parent or guardian program. New students receive a mailing with details about the insurance and about the waiver/enrollment process.

Services provided by Nurse Practitioner and a Licensed Practical Nurse. There is a physician is on duty Wednesday and Thursday 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., appointments must be made in advance.
