Backpack to Briefcase Series

The popular Backpack to Briefcase programming is a weekly series of one-hour workshops during which Career Services staff and guest speakers prepare presentations on key topics all students must know to succeed in securing internships and jobs. 

Past topics have included: 

• Résumé and Cover Letter Writing
• Job and Internship Search Tools
• How to Work a Career Fair
• Interviewing and Hiring from the Employer Perspective
• How to Survive Your First Year on the Job.

Students participating in the Series are eligible to earn a variety of professional accessories, including: padfolios, business cards and cases, résumé paper and envelopes, and more!  

This year's Series will be held on February 13th, 20th, and 27th and March 6th and 13th, 2013.
