Rehearsal



Commencement Rehearsal for seniors & graduate students is Saturday, May 17, at 1:00 pm in the Clark Athletic Center gym. Your academic dean will be there to check with you on how he or she will pronounce your name as you receive your degree. Dean of Students Ken Kelly will “walk” you through what to wear Sunday, how to get you and your guests to and from the Utica AUD, how you’ll line up, how the processional and recessional work, where you’ll sit, etc. He’ll review the flow of the program, clarify who will speak, and explain how degrees are conferred to you and demonstrate with a couple of your fellow graduates how to accept your diploma. Details about seating for your guests and about the reception back on campus afterward will be provided, and any remaining questions about Commencement and the separate Hooding Ceremony for graduate students will be answered. Refreshments will be provided. See you there!
