Rehearsal for Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony

Commencement Rehearsal for undergraduate students is Saturday 12 May 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Strebel Student Center Auditorium.

Your academic Dean will be there to check with you on how he or she will pronounce your name as you walk the stage at commencement.

The Dean of Students will explain:

1. What to wear Sunday (comfortable shoes, for one, as you will probably be standing longer than you may anticipate)
2. How to get you and your guests to and from the Utica Memorial AUD
3. How you’ll line up
4. How the processional and recessional work
5. Where you’ll sit
6. The flow of the program
7. Clarify who will speak
8. How diploma covers are handed to you and demonstrate with a couple of your fellow graduates how to accept your diploma cover

Details about seating for your guests and about the reception back on campus afterward will be provided, and any remaining questions about Commencement process.
