UC Alumni Voices

Chad Beckim '93UC professors are relentless and persistent in their approach

UC professors are relentless and persistent in their approach. They instilled in me the drive to do my best work as a writer. A play is a perpetual work in progress - Edward Albee is still revising the first play he ever wrote. As a playwright, you don't have to settle for things as they are. You can keep working with the understanding that writing is an evolutionary process. That's something I definitely learned at UC."
