C professors are relentless and persistent in their approach. They instilled in me the drive to do my best work as a writer. A play is a perpetual work in progress - Edward Albee is still revising the first play he ever wrote. As a playwright, you don't have to settle for things as they are. You can keep working with the understanding that writing is an evolutionary process. That's something I definitely learned at UC."
