Robert Halliday will lead off the event with a general discussion of how science differs from non-science. This will be followed with presentations by Byrant Buchanan on evolution versus intelligent design, John Johnsen on holistic and non-traditional medicine, and Sharon Kanfoush on the science behind global warming. The participants in this event and the committee on the Science and Society theme encourage all faculty members to integrate this event into their classes for next semester. |
