Introduction to Online Teaching Training Sessions
| The Center for Innovative Learning has replaced the ANGEL Faculty Training Course with an Introduction to Online Teaching Course. This course will offer much more than the ANGEL course. The goal of this course is to prepare faculty to teach online - both how to use the college's Learning Management System (LMS) as well how to build successful learning experiences in the online environment. The course was designed and developed from a blended approach - both technical and pedagogical. The duration of the course is two weeks and 100% of the course will be delivered online through the college's learning management system, ANGEL. There are six major topics in the course: the learning management system, content presentation, communication, interactivity, learning objectives and assessments, and best practices for online teaching. We believe you will find this course beneficial whether you are new to online teaching or a seasoned veteran. |
