Spring 2006 Projects:
Students taking "Making Public History" in the Spring of 2006 first put their research skills to work digging into Utica's past, focusing on some aspect of Utica's 20th century history involving the famed Hotel Utica. Next they made that research accessible to the public through a variety of media. Research projects were broadcast on public radio, local TV, and on the Web.

"I was originally drawn to UC's journalism program because I spoke with some alumni. They were so passionate about the school and the work they did while enrolled in the program, I decided I belonged there as well."
