Studying Accounting: The UC Advantage

Curriculum
The accounting major offers two concentrations: PUBLIC ACCOUNTING
– Get started on the path to certification as a public accountant in New York state. Completion of this program and Utica College's MBA in Professional Accountancy fulfills New York State's 150-hour requirement, making you eligible to take the uniform CPA exam.
PRIVATE ACCOUNTING
– Develop the skills to use accounting as a management tool in planning budgets, analyzing costs, preparing financial statements, and more.
