Utica College's major in nursing offers a very rigorous program of foundational study, practical training, and clinical experience in the discipline, complemented by comprehensive learning in the liberal arts.

The curriculum for the Bachelor of Science degree with a major in nursing consists of 127 credit hours of study comprised of 59 credits of nursing courses, and 68 credits of general education courses, prerequisite requirements, and electives.

Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN)
Utica College offers an accelerated (16 month) bachelor of science in nursing program for people who have already earned a bachelor's degree and wish to embark on a rewarding career in nursing. The program blends online courses with hands-on lab simulations and clinical rotations, and is offered through our new learning sites in Syracuse, NY, and St. Petersburg, FL.
