Today's complex health care delivery system requires a well-educated professional nursing force. Utica College has a long history of offering high-quality health care programs that prepare students for success. The baccalaureate nursing program at Utica College blends the strengths of the liberal arts educational mission of the College with the professional education required for successful clinical practice. The program is approved by the New York State Education Department and has enjoyed full accreditation from the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, Inc. throughout its 25 year existence and is a member of the League's Council of Baccalaureate and Higher Degree Programs. Graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nursing (NCLEX-RN).
