Gary Leising presented at two conferences in March, giving papers titled "Narrative, Drama, and the Long Poem in Glyn Maxwell's
The Sugar Mile" at the Northeast Modern Language Association Conference and "Learning to Revise Poems by Role Playing as Renowned Poet" at the Pedagogy Forum at the Association of Writers and Writing Programs Conference. He also has poems forthcoming in the
Paterson Literary Review,
Sou'wester, and
The Cincinnati Review, and a book review forthcoming in
Pleiades.

Barbara Witucki presented a paper titled "Hesiod and Mary Shelley's
The Last Man" at the 41st Annual Comparative Literature Conference at Cal State/Long Beach. She also participated in the 2006 summer seminar "Teaching Homer Across the Curriculum," co-sponsored by the Hellenic Center and the Council of Independent Colleges in Washinton, D.C.
