Aberystwyth, Wales

Aberystwyth is located on the beautiful shores of Cardigan Bay on the west coast of Wales. The town is set in unspoiled surroundings: the coastline to the north and south abounds in fine beaches, while inland expanses of rolling moorland are separated by the wooded valleys of the Ystwyth, Rheidol, Teifi and Dyfi Rivers. The mountains of Cader Idris and Snowdonia are within easy reach. The exchange allows students to enjoy this beautiful setting, while at the same time studying at one of the leading academic centers in Wales. Aberystwyth is home not only to the University but also to the National Library of Wales. In addition, exchange students will experience the unique collegial and communal atmosphere of "hall life."
