In addition to Biology courses and the UC core curriculum, Biology majors must also take:
CHE211 General Chemistry I with Laboratory
CHE212 General Chemistry II with Laboratory
PHY151 General Physics I with Laboratory
PHY152 General Physics II with Laboratory
MAT201 Calculus I or Statistics (MAT112, PSY211, SOC211)
Students planning Graduate Studies in Research or Medicine also need to take:
CHE331 Organic Chemistry I with Laboratory
CHE332 Organic Chemistry II with Laboratory
and need to take both Calculus and Statistics
