In this presentation, I will explore Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula and its three states—Yucatán, Campeche, and Quintana Roo—with a focus on less-visited locales and the non-touristy sides of some popular destinations. I’ll also discuss the pleasures and challenges of life in a rural village, both for full-time residents and for visiting gringos.
