Biography
Dr. Adam Schoonmaker is a native of central New York and received his B.A. from Potsdam College, an M.Sc. from the University of Vermont, and his Ph.D. from the University of Albany. Adam has taught at Syracuse University, the University of Vermont and Colby College in Maine. His research has taken him to several remote areas, including Oregon, Alaska, northern Miane, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. His hobbies are fly fishing, canoeing, woodworking and astronomy. He and his wife, Tamie, have one son and live in Hamilton.
